Since there are so many refugees here in Europe and particular Germany now we are super excited to announce that we are starting an English speaking small group for refugees at our church!
We are planning to go through chronological bible teaching with them twice a month and hope and pray that they will get a good understanding of the Gospel and find rest in who God is . Please pray with us for the people who will come and for us that we would be able to build good relationships with them and teach them clearly.
We are looking back on a great couple months. We moved to Germany from the US in May, and visited Frieddy’s brother in Sweden on our way to Germany. We had prayed for a car in Europe and God had provided a car in Sweden that we are still using right now. Praise God! 🙂 From Sweden we went down to Denmark where we took a ferry to get to Germany.
It took our boys especially Ben Elliot a while to adjust to German culture (and us too 🙂 and to the change in life, but thankfully they are really enjoying being here in Germany right now and are already excited about moving to PNG soon.
– Ben Elliot calls it “Papa and Guinea” –
We are full swing into partnership development now which includes lots of traveling, speaking in churches, meeting with people and many things more. On the side we need to do a lot of doctors visits, and we have to get a lot of immunizations and paperwork done. We are at 40% of our financial support goal, please keep praying that God would raise up more people who are willing to support us in our ministry. If you want to make a (monthly) gift towards our ministry please click below.
We are in the PNG application process and moving towards the visa application. It is super exciting to finally be “really” preparing to go to Papua New Guinea!
We are incredibly thankful for how God has brought us through. He is good and He will do it. We are grateful for all of you who have stood behind us in prayer and in financial support all those years! We could not have done it without you!
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Heb 4:16

We hope that you are able to celebrate with family and friends this year and enjoy some good food!
We are super stoked that we are able to celebrate Thanksgiving this year with our families here in Germany which is a first for them!!! 🙂
Thank you for partnering with us in taking the Gospel to people who have never heard! We could not do it without you!
We made it back to Germany! After a long time of traveling and seeing many people we finally arrived in Germany! We are so thankful for how God helped us during the travel. We are super excited to see family and friends here again! We are feeling overwhelmed when we think about the year that is ahead of us here in Germany but we know that God is here. Please be in prayer for us as we prepare everything to move to PNG in summer 2016.
With the start of classes in January we moved to Oklahoma to study the Cherokee language. We all have language helpers that help us to get the word we need. We really appreciate their willingness to help us to understand some of this difficult language. We have language sessions once a day and use most of the day to work through the data we gathered. We are thankful for your prayers as God uses this time to prepare us better for the field he wants us to work in! Please pray for us that we would build good relationships with the helpers and work good together as a team! Down below you can find a video that shows the room that we share as a family. After a pretty difficult first week we are starting to settle in. We are very thankful for how God helps us to face the challenges that we encounter down here .
Today Frieddy and Ben Elliot went on a little night hike right before bedtime. It is impossible to describe how excited Ben Elliot was!! He had a blast!! I guess it was his first time going for a walk in the dark. He loved spending time with his Daddy! And he loved using his little headlight to explore different things around campus – like cars, tractors and diggers of course… 🙂
I was reminded of how God wants to use as lights in a dark, dark world… How many people are still living without the hope of a Savior. And how just a little light can make an incredible difference! Please pray for us that we would stay focused on the task as we are studying Linguistics this semester and are getting closer to going overseas. Pray for us that Christ would be magnified in our lives and that we would be faithful servants. And please pray for the millions of unreached people that so desperately need the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
